Every Assembler Is Trained to IPC/WHMA-A-620 Workmanship Standards for Cable and Harness Assembly
We train every team member to the IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standard for cable and harness assembly. Our crimp quality assurance lab provides a comprehensive review of overall crimp quality to include pull testing, tool defined and process verification. The crimp test is performed on a regular weekly basis to chart out each tool that performs each crimp. Visual analysis of crimps, welds and splices is also performed as inspection criteria.
We Continuously look for methods to automate
We continuously search for new innovative equipment to automate any process we can turn into a highly reliable, repeatable process. The training and constant communication with all our certified assemblers is a core quality capability. We strive to provide the best-in-class work order instructions to include as many pictures and videos as possible.
Certified Soldering to J-STD-001
We continuously maintain a team of certified J-Std-001 solderers to provide the most reliable solder joint for each of our assemblies.
Training Modules for repeatable processes
We create our own internal training modules to certify each employee can not only build to IPC specifications but trained in operating benchtop tools and equipment. This sometime requires bringing in the manufacturer to provide training on site for each employee.
Serialization and lot code control for full traceability
C4ISR Cables ERP system has tremendous depth and capability in our manufacturing area and is designed for full serialization.
