The C4ISR Cables leadership team has years of experience in component design and sourcing, manufacturing, and testing of all types of cable and harness assemblies. Our manufacturing engineers have the hands-on experience for building years of NPI cables and harnesses. The team also has years of estimating RFQ’s experience. This provides our customers with a very high level of expertise to offer improved performance and cost reductions for your prototype, FAI, and production requirements at the RFQ stage instead of when in production. We also offer solutions to many known industry issues, such as the ability to bond mold compounds to NickelTeflon plating utilized on many connectors today as one example. We have produced many white papers utilized in US Army training, to assist the US Army out of expensive sole source situations, technical overviews to provide lower cost solutions with improved performance over the current fielded products. We have teamed with large prime contractors for design support to lower costs and provide data that limits risk by referring to other fielded platforms for same technology and materials with similar environmental factors.
- Engineering support for custom cable drawings, internal fixtures, harness CAD fixtures, 3D fixtures to build harnesses to “as installed” format, CAD drawings for injection molds, dispensing mold forms, detailed work order processes with pictures to ensure a repeatable built assembly no matter who is the person performing the assembly operations.
- Engineering review of the BOM when quoting to provide customer with alternates if the quote is not “to print”. The review provides an analysis of any issues if the product has material or assembly issues impacting the performance factors.
- Engineering expertise with extensive experience in reliability testing and building to customers manufacturing processes documentation. These factors are built into our processes and configured properly for quoting and test programs.
- Our Engineering support provides our customers with accurate estimating, risk mitigation for all processes and added value for on time delivery with reliable first time builds. Our interaction from the placement of the contract to the completion of the contract mitigates unexpected surprises.
